Integracja seksualna młodzieży jako wyraz dojrzałości seksualnej

Seksualność młodzieży jest zjawiskiem frapującym i przedstawicieli nauki, i rodziców nastolatków. W obliczu licznych zagrożeń harmonijnego rozwoju seksualnego adolescentów, oraz uwzględniając wagę tego okresu życia w kontekście seksualności, zasadne wydaje się podejmowanie namysłu nad szeroko rozumianą seksualnością młodzieży, w wyniku którego wiedza zostanie nie tylko pogłębiona, ale również wykorzystana dla poprawy jakości funkcjonowania człowieka. Celem niniejszego artykułu jest zaprezentowanie autorskiej koncepcji integracji seksualnej młodzieży. W toku prowadzonych analiz zestawiona zostaje ona z klasycznymi koncepcjami dojrzałości seksualnej. W końcowej części pracy przedstawione są najważniejsze wyniki badań empirycznych dotyczące poziomu integracji seksualnej młodzieży.

The sexuality of the youths is a phenomenon, which intrigues the representatives of the science as well as the parents of teenagers. Facing the numerous threats of the adolescents’ harmonious sexual development and taking into account the importance of that period of life in regards to sexuality, it seems reasonable to dwell upon the widely recognizable sexuality of the youths. Due to the above, the gathered knowledge not only will be deepened but also used to improve the quality of human functioning. The purpose of the following article is to present the author’s concept of the sexual integration of the youths. During the maintained analyses, the concept has been compared to the classical approaches to the sexual maturity. In the final part of the article, the most essential results of the empirical examinations, which refer to the level of the sexual integration of the youths, are presented.
