Stan rynku kryptowalut w Polsce na tle światowego rozwoju

Cel – Celem artykułu jest ocena stanu polskiego rynku kryptowalut na tle rozwoju tego rynku na świecie oraz przedstawienie możliwych perspektyw rozwoju.

Metodologia badania – W ramach oceny rynku kryptowalut wykorzystano dane ilościowe i jakościowe, zawarte w badaniach statystycznych i raportach ilościowych, krajową i zagraniczną literaturę przedmiotu oraz studia przypadków dla konkretnych rozwiązań wprowadzanych na omawianym rynku.

Wynik – Przedstawiono rozwój globalnego rynku kryptowalut i historię najpopularniejszej kryptowaluty, bitcoina. Oceniono stan oraz strukturę polskiego rynku kryptowalut na tle globalnego rynku kryptowalut. Przedstawiono także możliwe ścieżki rozwoju rynku kryptowalut w Polsce i na świecie.

Oryginalność/wartość – Omówiono funkcjonowanie systemu finansowego opartego na kryptowalutach i jego znaczenie dla gospodarek oraz wskazano możliwe perspektywy rozwoju rynku kryptowalut w Polsce i na świecie.

Purpose – The aim of the article is to assess the condition of the Polish cryptocurrency market on the background of the development of this market in the world and to present possible development perspectives.

Research methodology – As part of the cryptocurrency market evaluation, quantitative and qualitative data included in statistical surveys and quantitative reports, national and foreign literature on the subject and case studies for specific solutions implemented on the discussed market.

Findings – The development of the global cryptocurrency market and the history of the most popular cryptocurrency Bitcoin is presented. Assessment of the condition and structure of the Polish cryptocurrency market against the background of the global cryptocurrency market. The possible paths of cryptocurrency market development in Poland and in the world were also presented.

Originality/value – An overview of the functioning of the financial system based on cryptocurrencies and its importance for economies. Indication of possible development prospects for the crypto market in Poland and in the world.
