Employment of the disabled in the EU in the framework of Europe 2020 Strategy

The priorities of the “Europe 2020” strategy for intelligent and sustainable development favouring social inclusion (adopted by the European Union in 2010) are based on five headline targets. Their implementation should give the European Union economic and social success in 2020. This article aims to evaluate the situation of people with disabilities in the European Union in light of two headline targets—employment and education.
