The development of an artificial intelligence raises various challenges, not only technological, but also legal and ethical. In the case of consumer protection law, the essence of which is to protect the weaker party to the transaction, which is the consumer, they may concern various issues. These include informing the consumer that he is interacting with such systems. The research intention undertaken in this study is to answer the following research questions. First, will the use of artificial intelligence create new threats to consumers, especially in the financial market, and if so, what are they. Secondly, will the use of AI in transactions necessitate enhanced consumer protection, and if so, to what extent. The study focuses in particular on consumer protection in the financial market, as innovation in financial services is linked to artificial intelligence.
The study uses the dogmatic - legal and comparative methods.
