Causes educationnelles de l'anxiete langagiere

The purpose of this article is to present and discuss the main causes of language anxiety. These causes are closely connected with the educational context (self-assessment of FL skills, motivation, proficiency level, native and foreign language aptitude, student beliefs, teacher beliefs, student-teacher interaction, non-automatization of the foreign language and classroom procedures: being judged in the classroom, being isolated in the classroom, feeling out of control in the classroom, error correction.
