In the paper I compare two very different ways of portraying moral reality. Immanuel Kant has created a very demanding, but also difficult to understand, artificial and non-empiricist ethics. In addition, it has been heavily laden with metaphysics, and even theology. Contrary to that, Peter Strawson in one article, Freedom and Resentment, published in 1962, made a naturalistic and realistic description of moral reality.
