Integrated AHP and TOPSIS method in the comparative analysis of the internet activities

The pandemic (COVID-19) has significantly our impacted behavior, especially regarding online activity. Unprecedented changes in both human behavior and ICT diffusion generate a new opportunity to study internet activity related behavior in the global crisis. To study internet activity is a complex because it cannot measured by one factor. This paper proposes use of a combination involving two multicriteria methods: analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and technique for order of preference by similarity to ideal solution (TOPIS), in order assess internet activity the inhabitants of European countries. First, were conducted of calculated of weights for all identified criterion based on AHP and then inputted these weights to the TOPSIS method to rank countries. The entire methodology is illustrated with the help of a numerical example and finally the rank of each countries is determined according to its internet activity.
