TOPSIS and VIKOR methods in study of sustainable development in the EU countries

Sustainable development is one of the most important problems under interest of scientists and organisations related to study development of countries in the world. Various groups (agendas) are established to develop the plan for sustainable development (e.g. SDGs- UN). To harmonize activities, particular goals and measurement indicators are defined. Each initiative in this respect is valuable and brings benefits to operability of sustainable development concept. Therefore the authors take up the attempt to apply TOPSIS and VIKOR methods to study sustainable development, by using selected indices out from objectives defined by SDGs. The results may be applied as the recommendation for proper method selection in the similar studies.
