Atrakcyjność, satysfakcja, prestiż : o praktycznym znaczeniu społecznej oceny zawodu marynarza

The research studies of the future of maritime transport indicate that one of the biggest development barriers in this industry is to the lack of qualified marine personnel. The article presents three dimensions of the assessment of the profession of seafarer, namely: the attractiveness of the profession, the satisfaction with the work done and the prestige. These variables were analyzed in the context of the potential for intentional counteracting the identified threat.
