Neurolinguistic programming (NLP) is very often used by teachers, albeit not in a conscious manner. Taking into consideration specific aims which a teacher wants to achieve while using NLP, they should pay particular attention to the choice of words. With the combination of techniques provided by NLP with eristic it is possible to convince a student that they are able to solve even the most complicated problems. The basis here is to build the student’s selfconfidence, with an ability of conscious use of what NLP may offer. The aim of the paper is to point the possibility of using techniques of NLP to improve the efficiency of miscellaneous subjects, eg. accounting related. The authoresses presented the essence and history of NLP and explained which techniques can be used in the process of teaching and in what way. Theoretical divagations were supplemented with the authoresses’ own experience in the described area.
