Kuntillet ‘Ajrud – punkt zwrotny w interpretacji historii Izraela i Judy?

Kuntillet ‘Ajrud dostarcza nam wiele intersujących danych na temat religii starożytnego Izraela oraz jego historii. W artykule akcent położony jest znaczenie tego stanowiska archeologicznego  dla tej ostatniej. W świetle danych płynących z tekstów znalezionych w tym miejscu przedstawiona jest popularna dziś teza o potencjalnym politycznym uzależnieniu Judy od królestwa Izraela przez cały okres istnienia tego ostatniego. Autor nie uważa, aby te dane były wystarczające do jej udowodnienia, ale zgadza się z tym, że mogą one stanowić przyczynek do dalszej dyskusji nad tą hipotezą.

Kuntillet ‘Ajrud provides us with much of interesting information about the religion of ancient Israel and its history. The emphasis in this article is on the latter. In the light of the data from the texts found here, the popular today thesis discusses the potential political dependence of Judah on the Kingdom of Israel throughout the existence of the latter. The author does not believe that this data is sufficient to prove so, but agrees that the data should contributes to further discussion of this hypothesis.
