Celem artykułu jest ocena wysokości wpływów z poboru opłaty targowej w Szczecinie w latach 2002–2015. Wpływy te stanowiły znaczny udział w budżecie jednostek samorządu terytorialnego w Polsce, który jednak malał na przestrzeni ostatnich lat. Odstąpienie od jej poboru może się przyczynić do rozwoju drobnej przedsiębiorczości. Miesięczne dane pozyskane z Urzędu Miasta Szczecin wskazują na sezonowość wielkości poboru opłaty targowej. W związku z tym w badaniu wykorzystano model trendu z relatywnie stałą sezonowością. Okresowo większy pobór tej opłaty wskazuje na zróżnicowanie w intensywności handlu targowiskowego w poszczególnych miesiącach roku. Zastosowany model pozwolił na ocenę wielkości tych wahań.
The goal of the article is assessment of incomes resulting from the marketplace toll in Szczecin in years 2002–2015. Incomes from the marketplace toll were a significant part in the budget of the units of the local government in Poland which, however, was decreasing during last years. Withdrawal from its collection may contribute to the development of small entrepreneurship. Monthly data, obtained from the Szczecin City Hall indicate the seasonality of the amount of marketplace toll collection. Therefore, the model of trend with relatively constant seasonality was used in the research. Periodically higher collection of this toll indicates on differentiation in intensity of marketplace trade in particular months. Applied model helped to estimate the magnitude of these fluctuations.
