Zastosowanie punktacji ECTS podczas opracowywania programów studiów

The article contains a brief characteristic of European Credit Transfer System (ECTS), as a system makes teaching and learning in higher education more transparent across Europe and facilitates the recognition of all studies. ECTS system is a tool supporting the process of creating a study programs based on learning outcome. According to the Higher Education Act, amended in 2011, ECTS is an element of study programs. The conquest of ECTS is possible if and only if the student has reached strictly defined qualifications. Number of ECTS is a derivative of the time needed to achieve the qualification. It is closely related to the introduction of National Qualifications Framework to ensure flexibility of study program and their adaptation to the labor market.
